Stubbs could do himself some good by getting advice from retiring Sen. Vern White, who successfully made the move from being a senior RCMP officer to becoming a successful police chief of both Durham Regional and the Ottawa Police Service.Article content I hope Stubbs can quickly gain the support of both the rank-and-file Ottawa police members and the public, as he will quickly need both to succeed.Common sense is something seldom heard from the mouth of a politician. They can always “fix” things. Instead of preparing for the next inevitable disaster caused by human neglect of our planet, the current governments continue to react to climate change like Canada has a major impact on the final outcome.
