THUNDER BAY – The Northern Rescue Unit, the DEK Foundation and the Make a Big Splash Spray Park Committee will share in $30,000 in grant money donated through the Tbaytel for Good Community Fund. The Fort Frances-based Make a Big Splash Spray Park committee worked hard to rally the community behind their effort.
“It is because of this generous contribution that we are one step closer to making a big splash at the community’s new splash park.” The DEK Foundation’s Backpack for Hope program will also benefit people struggling with addiction before, during and after treatment to help their emotional and physical recovery and journey.
