THUNDER BAY — While results aren't yet finalized in Monday's public school board election, new faces appear set to be in short supply among the board's eight trustee positions.
Leah Vanderwey, one of those newcomers who has a long background working in the education system, stormed to the top, as of the results available Tuesday morning. That experience includes serving as a teacher, a principal and superintendent at other regional school boards, and working for the Ministry of Education as the regional manager for the field services branch.
