The 24-year-old Wigginton, a six-foot-two guard, played well in five pre-season games with Milwaukee, averaging 6.0 points, 2.0 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 11.9 minutes. He led the team in scoring with 16 points against the Atlanta Hawks on Oct. 8. Reports suggest there's a strong possibility he ends up back with the Herd in the G League, especially since fan feedback on social media was mostly disappointment with the Bucks for cutting him.
Darling and Wigginton are the first two Nova Scotians ever to play in the NBA. Neither player was drafted out of the NCAA, with Wigginton suiting up for Iowa State University and Darling playing for the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Delaware.
