A Valley man has been charged with fraud and theft after allegedly scamming two victims for thousands of dollars.
STORY CONTINUES BELOW THESE SALTWIRE VIDEOSCounty RCMP have charged a 57-year-old man with fraud and theft after reports of scams.
In a press release Thursday morning, RCMP said they received a report of scamming on Dec. 12, 2022. The victim of the scam allegedly paid the suspect over $5,000 for a vehicle that police say did not exist. Once the payment was made and the vehicle was set to be picked up by the suspect, he ceased communications with the victim.
