People are being reminded of closures at P.E.I. National Park as recovery operations continue from Fiona. FileCHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Parks Canada is reminding people that closures remain in place inThe parks agency said there are hazards present throughout the park, including dangerous trees, unstable or missing beach access infrastructure, washed-out roads and pathways, and exposed utilities. However, staff and park wardens have witnessed vehicles and individuals accessing closed areas.
Grahams Lane, Oceanview, Cavendish Grove, Greenwich and Skmaqn-Port la- Joye- Fort Amherst National Historic Site remain closed to pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.between Covehead and Ross Lane, damaged beach accesses remain barricaded for safety reasons. Most beach access points, look-offs and parking lots along this section remain barricaded until safety and infrastructure assessments are finished.https://www.facebook.com/PEInationalpark/posts/415960667375437/
