Specifically, officers found and seized a barrel containing seven cans of cannabis weighing 3.7 kilograms hidden among grocery items, four high-powered rifles, four pistols, two pistol magazines, 17 rifle magazines, 40 boxes of ammunition and several component firearms parts. A check of a second barrel revealed six cans of about 5.2 kilograms of weed, again among some grocery items, and one pistol, 12 high-powered rifles and five rifle magazines.
The officers intercepted an international crime network, which resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of firearms, ammunition and narcotics, the post adds, but offered no more detail.decriminalized in Trinidad and Tobago, a person convicted of trafficking “is liable upon conviction on indictment to a fine of $100,000 or where there is evidence of the street value, three times the street value, and imprisonment for a term of 25 years to life,”
