Some of the Wildcats have had chances during their careers to play elsewhere in the league but chose to stay in Kentville.
“I know he’s smiling up there because this is definitely what he would have wanted,” Turple said. “This one was really for him at the end of the day.” Sandy Van Blarcom, also a member of the hall of fame, said Mosher, the longtime player and coach, helped instill the work ethic players need to become champions.
“To knock Dartmouth off in the first round was a true feat in itself and Halifax gave Kentville everything they could handle in the finals,” he said. “I’m glad for John Ansara because he puts in a lot of time and effort to keep things functioning on the field.”“I tip my hat to all of them because they all contributed in various ways.”
