Z'otz* Collective is bringing an exhibit to the Artsplace Gallery in Annapolis Royal. ContributedANNAPOLIS ROYAL, N.S. — Z'otz* Collective, a group of three visual artists from Toronto, is bringing a playful and collaborative storytelling exhibit to the Artsplace Gallery in Annapolis Royal.
The artists, who take their name from the Mayan word for bat, an animal that represents dreaming and intuition in the Mesoamerican world, will be in residence at Artsplace from Feb. 20-24.The trio's upcoming exhibition, Words From Returning Rocks, will feature collaborative drawings, sculptures and an in-situ ephemeral wall drawing.
