Of our Top 5 stories this week, three of them were from the lovely Brian Lilley, who shed light on how much it cost when Canada’s delegation attended the funeral of Queen Elizabeth. But one number stood out like a flashing neon sign: the $6,000-a-night suite at the luxury Corinthia that housed some mystery delegate – cough, cough, the Trudeaus – for five nights. So, $30,000 for not even a week’s worth accommodations? At a time when Canadians would give anything for a fraction of that to pay their grocery bills or mortgage and, you know, SURVIVE.
