The Spring Park United Church is hosting a gathering for choirs to sing songs to veterans on Nov. 13. FileCHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown's Spring Park United Church is set to host an afternoon of songs and poems on the theme of peace and a tribute to veterans on Nov. 13.
The event was organized to encourage all generations to take time to honour veterans for their service and sacrifice. The Guild Musical Theatre School, made up of students from pre-kindergarten to Grade 12, will be performing songs for veterans. The school will be joined by the AKKORD choir, an intergenerational community choir and the Stratford Community Choir, which is made up of adults who enjoy singing.
The concert is a time for people to be together and acknowledge past experiences and be hopeful as everyone looks forward to the future.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
