Snowblowing, snow shovelling and snow brushing were all methods many used to clear snow during and after Friday’s snowstorm. Mark Anderson, though, was probably the only person to use a leaf blower to clear snow. He was spotted on Alexandra Street putting his innovative idea to use clearing off a couple of cars. He’s always maintained to his friends that the leaf blower works best, especially on light and fluffy snow.

As of noontime on Friday 10 centimetres of snow was recorded at Sydney Airport and the snow was still falling.
