Remembering Glace Bay's Terri Jackson
Terri Jackson, with Keely Wadden, owner of CrossFit D10 in Glace Bay: "When she spoke, people listened and respected what she had to say, but in a friendly, very nice way," Wadden said.SYDNEY — There was one word Terri Jackson would never allow in her life and her work: “Can’t.”
“She just believed in everybody,” Bryden-MacDonald said. “There was nobody that would walk through that door that she did not believe they could do anything. Nobody was allowed to use the word ‘can’t;’ that was not a word she would use. She said there was no such thing; you could do anything.”'Passion was so infectious'
Wadden said Jackson was “warmly” referred to as ‘The Warden.’ “When she spoke, people listened and respected what she had to say, but in a friendly, very nice way,” Wadden said. “And she was just a naturally nice person, with an infectious smile, so friendly and personable. Our community is certainly in mourning.”
"She has transformed hundreds of lives by giving people the tools and confidence to lead healthier happier lives.” - Keely Wadden
