The new president of the Ontario Provincial Police Association promises to make officer safety his number one concern

Cerasuolo was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie and attended Sir James Dunn Secondary School. He still calls the Sault home and will be travelling extensively back and forth to Barrie, where the OPPA head office is located.Starting in 1996, Cerasuolo spent his entire policing career serving as an OPP officer in northern Ontario, including Espanola, Blind River and his hometown of Sault Ste. Marie.

In particular, Cerasuolo recalls assisting the SSMPS with investigating the 2011 Wesley Hallam killing.
