The city recommends one of its parks, Prince of Wales Park in Etobicoke, for the dispersal of funeral ashes as it is “accessible, scenic and tranquil.”Article content There’s even a sign indicating where the area is for scattering ashes, but no other items such as photos or notes should be left there.
The western edge of Prince of Wales is also less busy than some of Toronto’s other waterfront parks though the city does note that the area is used “on a first come, first serve basis.”
