THUNDER BAY – One of the two accused in the 2020 death of Christopher Meeseetawageesic has pleaded guilty to the charge of manslaughter.
No facts were read into the record on Friday. A sentencing and Gladue report have been ordered and the matter was adjourned to December to set a date for sentencing. Officers were first called to the 400 block of Main Street on the morning of Aug. 30, 2020 after receiving reports of a deceased male in the area.
