Everything happens for a reason. Or as I say, everything that happens can be reasoned. It's in our nature as human beings. | SaltWire
Nova Scotia got its first snow day of the year on Jan. 20, 2023.Everything happens for a reason. Or as I say, everything that happens can be reasoned. It's in our nature as human beings. It’s our first snow day of the year and I’m sitting here sipping my second coffee of the morning and looking out the window as the snow flies.
And for me, it’s reminded me of the power of being open to new ways of looking at the world and seeing it from the perspective of others. Inspirational things like “always remind yourself, your track record for making it through the bad days is perfect.” Or “now and then, break out the fancy china and drink the good wine for no reason at all.” On relationships: “no one has ever argued their way to happiness” and “tell your partner you love them every night before falling asleep. Someday you’ll find the other side of the bed empty and wish you could.
... maybe I should just accept the fact that everything happens for a reason. Or that as humans, we can reason just about anything that happens to us.
