The Marauders downed the Sydney Academy Wildcats 3-1 in girls' action at Memorial High School Field in Sydney Mines. Kylie Jessome scored twice, while Addison Matthews added a single marker for the Sydney Mines school.Meanwhile, Breton Education Centre was given a 3-0 victory over the Glace Bay Panthers by default in boys action. The game was slated to be played at the Ness Timmons Field in Sydney.
In other action, the Riverview Ravens junior varsity team and Sydney Academy Wildcats played to a 0-0 tie.
