“I started refinishing my own furniture 10 years ago and learned through trial and error,” says Quann, adding that YouTube has been a great teaching tool in recent years. The most popular item that she makes would be dressers and dresser sets. These are always highly requested, she says. After peeling back layers of paint, Marley Quann was able to transform an ordinary piece of furniture into an open concept shelving unit. - Contributed
Through her business New Chapter Furniture & More, Marley Quann takes ordinary or run-down furniture, sometimes found discarded on the side of the road, and transforms it into something beautiful. - Contributed As much as Quann says she would like to work on her furniture business full-time, she says she is a mom first. She is married with two children aged five and two years old. She works from home while caring for her family.
