RCMP arrested a 33-year-old man after searching a home in Marystown on March 16. - FileMARYSTOWN, N.L. — A 33-year-old Marystown man is facing a slew of charges after police seized drugs, thousands of dollars in cash and a gun from a home in the town on Thursday, March 16.
RCMP officers searched the home on Wilson Street Thursday evening, where Mounties found and seized $22,785 in cash, 351 grams of cocaine, 260 pills —primarily opioids — five grams of psilocybin, a gun, seven cell phones, digital scales, a vacuum sealer and a large quantity of stolen property.
He is also charged with careless storage of a firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order and breach of probation.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
