“I’ve had a good season,” said MacWilliam, 28. “These girls are a great team to play with, an amazing group, lots of people with rugby knowledge and it’s great to come back and play with the team.” Along with responsibilities at the prop position, MacWilliam, also handles a lot of the kicking chores for the Panthers. She successfully kicked 22 converts this season.

“She is a little older, she understands the game and she has been playing for a lot of years,” said Voye. “She is a referee and has a wide range of knowledge of the game. That is on the verge of hosting an Atlantic University Sport playoff game. The Panthers completed regular-season play 4-2 to clinch second place and home-field advantage for a semifinal game against the defending-champion St. Francis Xavier X-Women on Oct. 20 at 2 p.m.
