Avoid non-essential travel from 22 kilometres south of Pineview to Quesnel's northern city limit, says DriveBC
Motorists are being urged to avoid non-essential travel along a stretch of Highway 97 north of Quesnel, due to freezing rain.
A travel advisory was posted Tuesday morning on the DriveBC website for Finning Road, 22 kilometres south of Pineview, to Chamulak Road at the northern boundary of Quesnel. "Due to freezing rain, please avoid non-essential travel. Please exercise extreme caution and drive carefully," DriveBC says in the posting.
