Local musicians performing at Harvesting Hope in between storytelling sessions include Janet Bickerton, Shelley Allen and Chris Eyking.is creating a musical for the Northside Community Coalition and will be at the event for the public to give input as to what they believe should be there.The coalition was formed about a year ago and consists of about 60 members as well as an anchor team of leads.
Through their meetings, the idea for a community storytelling event was developed and the first one was held at Indian Beach in June. People are also able to tour the fossil centre, which is also the Sydney Mines Heritage Museum, during the event.For more information go to the Northside Rising Facebook page.
