Firefighters rescued a crane operator who had a medical emergency at a construction site on Central Park Drive off Merivale Road on Friday.

Tactical paramedics gained access to the patient before firefighters lowered the woman to awaiting paramedics. The patient was “packaged” for a safe descent and brought to the ground, the Ottawa Fire Service said.This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.
