Firefighters could do little to save the 115-year-old heritage structure on New Cove Road

St. John's Regional Fire Department Michael Hall told the CBC that a taxi driver first spotted the fire around 3 a.m., but it was fully engulfed by the time firefighters from Kent's Pond station across the road made it to the property.There was little the St. John's Regional Fire Department could do to save Bryn Mawr Cottage in St. John's on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022.
