Félix-Antoine Gagné, 19, of Ste-Elisabeth, was on his motorcycle heading to a gym when he collided with the pickup. A video shown to the jury on Tuesday captured the moment when Gagné fell off his motorcycle before he and the Yamaha slid into the pickup truck. The Crown’s theory is that the actions Renaud took to avoid running over a group of ducks caused Gagné’s death.
On Tuesday, the prosecutor read into the record a series of facts that he and defence lawyer Richard Dubé agree on. Among them: alcohol and drugs were not factors in the accident.
