It was a gadget to fill up space, in his opinion.
“That was a time when the old people used everything,” Agnes, Placentia-born playwright and poet, wrote in her poem “Dad and the Fridge Box,” published in her collection “Going Around with Bachelors” in 2007.From the minute she first read the poem, actor/writer/comedian Mary Walsh saw a cinematic quality in it.
