Cape Breton Capers defender Anthony Stolar was picked third overall by the HFX Wanderers in the Canadian Premier League-U Sports draft. Stolar is the 13th Caper to be selected in the five years of the annual draft. - VAUGHN MERCHANT / CBU ATHLETICS With the first pick of the second round , the Wanderers selected Dalhousie Tigers keeper Aiden Rushenas.
“We felt Aiden has a massive upside,” said Gheisar, who was hired by the Wanderers late last month. “He has great feet which will suit the style that we want to play. Most importantly, is his young age. After speaking to him, he has the highest level of ambition and confidence. I was very impressed with his attitude about wanting to improve on a daily level.”
