Kelly MacPherson holds Greg Deveau days after he was born at at St. Rita's Hospital in Sydney. Now 33, Deveau always wondered who the nurse in the photo and thanks to a social media post discovered her identity last week.SYDNEY, N.S.
MacPherson, who was 22 years old at the time the photo was taken, was pleasantly surprised that someone she helped care for more than three decades ago still thought about her.Greg Deveau, 33, of L’Ardoise says he’s surprised he found out the identity of the nurse holding him as a newborn. “I really didn’t think I’d get anywhere with it, to be honest.
“I was was just starting my life, this girl was 22 years old and living her life and starting her career and it’s just a unique perspective to look at the photograph and fast forward to 33 years later.”
