Rookie William Shields has been suspended one game by the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for slew-footing. The suspension comes following an incident in Saturday’s game with the Val-d’Or Foreurs at Centre 200 in Sydney. The 16-year-old received a five-minute major for slew-footing during the second period of the club’s 4-2 loss.
