“The resiliency of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, and their ability to rally, was on full display in 2022,” says Premier Andrew Furey in this year-end interview. From juanitamercer_
One: “To continue with the agenda and vision around, Number 1: health care, and being fully seized with this disruptive time in health care across the country, but specifically for Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, and trying to deal with the crisis that is health care in Newfoundland and Labrador from a granular level, but also from a visionary level recreating and reimagining a health-care system that's sustainable well into the future.
Two: “The energy transition. Newfoundland and Labrador is very well-positioned right now with respect to the energy transition that's occurring around the globe. We have some of the lowest-emitting, lowest-carbon-footprint petroleum products. And we're blessed with an abundance of natural resources. And that is not something that every other jurisdiction is able to say.
Three: “And of course we are continuously monitoring and recognizing the incredible inflationary pressures that exist on individuals and families across our province. And, as we have been in 2022, we will continue to be responsive to the needs of the people with respect to the inflationary pressures that exist for them and their families.”
