LAKE AINSLIE, N.S. — A wood stove is being blamed for a structure fire at an Inverness County home on Oct. 12. Lake Ainslie Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at a residence in East Lake Ainslie. Upon arrival, the structure was fully engulfed, prompting calls to Inverness and Whycocomagh fire departments.
The home was occupied and received major damage. The cause of the fire was determined by an investigator with the Office of the Fire Marshal.
