Police say 30-year-old Samantha Evans is associated with a red 2004 Monte Carlo that is parked in south Nanaimo with no plates attached.

The family of 30-year-old Samantha Evans contacted police Jan. 18 and a missing-person investigation was begun.

Evans, who is of no fixed address, has been dealing with significant personal issues and her family is concerned about her. She is described as white, five-foot-seven and 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, and might have a piercing beneath her lower lip. Police said she is associated with a red 2004 Monte Carlo that is parked in south Nanaimo with no plates attached.
