As Ontario prepares to mark Victoria Day, with the long weekend comes the expected closures. Here is a list of what’s open and what’s closed this long weekend.
The holiday falls on Monday, May 22 this year.
Service will begin at around 6 a.m. while subway service will begin around 8 a.m. and will run every four to five minutes.The Beer Store and LCBO locations are also closed.Some malls will remain open on Victoria Day including Markville which is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Vaughan Mills which is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Square One which is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Pacific Mall which is open 365 days a year.
Casa Loma will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Canada’s Wonderland will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.Road closures ActiveTO will be taking place on Bayview Avenue from Rosedale Valley Road to Lawren Harris Square, River Street between Bayview Avenue and Spruce Street, and The Meadoway from Brimley Road to Scarborough Golf Club Road, from 7 a.m. on May 21 until 7 p.m. on May 22.
