In their third game, the U18 Majors opened the floodgates again and overwhelmed the King’s Edgehill Highlanders 15-2. That gave Pictou County a 2-0-1 record in the round-robin portion of the tournament and a berth in the playoff round. They scored 32 goals in their three games while allowing just eight.

Pictou County then edged Steele Subaru 2-1 in OT in their playoff opener before falling to the Halifax Macs by the same 2-1 score, although this time in regulation.The Weeks U18 Majors next play Saturday, Nov. 26 in league action in Cole Harbour against the Wolfpack. Cole Harbour leads the league with a 16-3-0 record and are just three points ahead of the second-place Pictou County team. The U18 Majors have a 14-3-1 mark for 29 points with a game in hand on Cole Harbour.
