B.C. Ferries is running a free water taxi to and from Crofton on Vancouver Island and Vesuvius Bay on Salt Spring Island Saturday afternoon and evening after regular sailings were cancelled.
The company was unable to get enough crew to sail the Quinitsa for the afternoon and evening sailings.
The first cancellation will be at 3 p.m. out of Vesuvius Bay followed by the 3:35 p.m. sailing out of Crofton.To see the water taxi schedule go to bcferries.com/current-conditions/service-notices.
