“In recent months, as a result of the investigation conducted by the OPP, the ministries received a list of people impacted by this privacy breach based on evidence seized,” said the new email to some 360,000 people said. “In over 95% of these cases a person’s name on its own or with their phone number were stolen. The accused’s laptops seized by the OPP contained your name only,” the message said.Advertisement 4“While this letter has provided you all the information on this contained privacy breach that I have, if you still wish to contact the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre you may do so by telephone at 1-888-999-6488,” the ministry email said.
