BURLINGTON, P.E.I. – The 2.79-acre lot and both castles on it went up for sale on Jan. 19. By Jan. 23, an offer had been made and accepted, though had not yet been finalized.The Burlington property was listed for $275,000. “There were a few people that called that were very serious and they had the money to purchase it right away,” said Ron Barrett, co-owner of Century 21 Northumberland Realty.“I had calls from New York, Chicago … Texas, Pennsylvania … exposure-wise, with social media and all the websites, it was quite surprising to hear from so many people.”
