A team at the University of Saskatchewan has developed a new type of glitter that is biodegradable and edible.
Amin Babaeighazvini, an engineering student at the U of S, shows off ChiralGlitter, a biodegradable and edible alternative to platic-based glitters."The glitter particles are a variety of unique shapes and sizes that allow them to reflect light at different angles, causing the surface to sparkle or shimmer," said Babaeighazvini.
Jennilee Cardinal-Schultz posted a photo of a model wearing glitter to social media and got comments about glitter being bad for the environment.
