Two popular Alberta locations recently made a top 10 list of most instagrammable tourist destinations in Canada.

The second Alberta location, the Icefields Parkway, landed at the No. 10 spot, with 140,754 Instagram posts including its hashtags. Known as one of the most scenic drives in the world, it links Lake Louise in Banff National Park to Jasper National Park. Tallying a total of 232 kilometres, it provides breathtaking views of the Rockies.
Some of the other entries on the top 10 include Stanley Park and Granville Island in Vancouver, Toronto’s St. Lawrence Market and CN Tower, Old Quebec, the Whistler-Blackcomb Ski Resort and Niagara Falls. Top spot went to Old Montreal, with a total of 22,398,024 Instagram posts using its hashtags. According to the study, known as Vieux-Montréal in French, Old Montreal is home to numerous historic buildings and sites that cater to a variety of tastes. Travellers tend to find everything from scenic views from the Old Port of Montreal across the St. Lawrence River, to stunning architecture.
