Two drivers and the owner of the vehicle are facing charges
COCHRANE - A transport with a trailer "heavily damaged" in a crash on Highway 11 was driven about five hours before being taken off the road by police.
A couple of days later, on Feb. 18, around 8:45 a.m., police received a report of the same CMV on the road in the Cochrane area. It's over a five-hour drive from the Jellicoe area, which is west of Geraldton, to Cochrane. Another driver, a 33-year-old from Brantford, is charged with operating unsafe vehicle - commercial motor vehicle, failing to accurately complete a daily inspection report, failing to enter a defect into a daily inspection report, and driving a commercial motor vehicle with a major defect in it or in the drawn vehicle.
