Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Rob Fleming was also on-hand at Wednesday’s media event at Waterfront Station in Downtown Vancouver.
The work was a joint project of TransLink, Interac, the payment processing company Moneris, and Cubic Transportation Systems, the technology company that designed TransLink’s Compass card system.
