Consumers are increasingly on the hunt for sales and deals, with some expected to wait until later in the season to buy gifts. Popular toys like the interactive Magic Mixies Crystal Ball are being scooped up online in what she calls a more "transactional purchase."
"We'll likely see some trading down as shoppers look for less expensive toys," he said. "There's always a range of good, better, best. We'll see more deal-seeking behaviour."
