BREAKING: Toronto police officer charged with manslaughter in 2021 death of Brampton teen.
Ontario’s police watchdog said Friday Const. Calvin Au has been charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault in connection with the death of Chadd Facey.Two off-duty Toronto police officers allegedly chased and tackled Facey during the altercation. He later died in hospital.
The Special Investigations Unit launched an investigation after becoming aware of an interaction with the two off-duty cops, which was not initially reported to police.
