Mounties in Nanaimo, B.C., are asking the public for help finding a 28-year-old woman who is missing and may be seriously injured.
Police were alerted around midnight that Lucas may have suffered a serious injury, the RCMP said in a release Tuesday morning."Given that she cannot be located, there is significant concern for her safety and well-being," the RCMP said.
Lucas is described as an Indigenous woman who stands 5' 5" tall with long brown-blonde hair and brown eyes. Police provided a photo of Lucas which they say was taken recently. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
