Temperatures will hit the high teens
It’s good news this week as Met Eireann has confirmed temperatures are set to soar into the high teens.
Tonight will stay mostly dry and clear early. However, further scattered heavy showers spread from the southwest overnight. Temperatures will go from 7 to 10 degrees with light to moderate south to southwest winds. Thursday night will see some outbreaks of rain spreading northwards overnight, with the heaviest and most persistent rain in southern counties. The lowest temperatures will range from 6 to 9 degrees in variable winds, fresh to strong at times near coasts.
Saturday will be a cool and breezy day with sunny spells, but there will be some occasional showers so be sure to grab a brolly if you plan on heading out. Temperatures will range from 9 to 12 degrees. It will become drier and clearer after dark, but remaining quite chilly with frost setting in as temperatures widely dip close to freezing.
