Newhook, of course, went to Boston College before becoming a first-round pick of the Colorado Avalanche and winning the Stanley Cup with the team last summer.
Before he made his final decision, Hiscock spoke to each of them about the Grizzlies and the area. They had good things to say about their experiences, which helped make the decision a little easier.
