The Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League - ContributedTRENTON – A suspension handed out to a Pictou County Jr. B Scotians player was unwarranted, according to the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League executive.“After review and investigation by a third party, it has been determined the one-game suspension to the Pictou County Scotians player was not correct and will not be upheld.”
At that time, the league’s statement said: “The NSJHL takes allegations such as these seriously and a full review must be conducted involving both teams, the officials, and any other parties involved. We understand that there may be more to the incident than what was initially reported, however, we cannot provide any further information as this is now in the hands of a third party.”
