Victoria police officers were called to the 800-block of Yates just after 2 a.m. Tuesday for a report that a person had been assaulted.
They found a victim suffering from significant injuries, who was transported to hospital.On Wednesday, they arrested a man who is expected to remain in custody until he makes a court appearance.
