Woman airlifted to Vancouver with serious injuries following rollover
Charges have been approved against a man following a series of events that sent a woman to Vancouver with serious injuries.
He is suspected of forcing the woman into a grey sedan in the parking of the Econolodge Motel at 910 Victoria Street just after 3 p.m. on Sunday. Shortly after, police were notified that a car matching the description had crashed in the 7300 block of Boundary Road.According to witnesses, the driver attempted to violently carjack several vehicles of drivers who had stopped before a passerby voluntarily gave the man a ride.
